How to play Beleaguered Castle Solitaire

Beleaguered Castle Solitaire begins by dealing the four aces to the four foundations in the center of the game area. To the right and left of each foundation is a pile of 6 cards, for a total of 8 piles with 6 cards each. Only the top card in each of these piles may be moved between the piles or to the foundations. The piles are built down from King to Ace regardless of suit, and the foundations are built up from Ace to King by suit. A good strategy is to begin by planning out a way to clear out all the cards in a pile. The game will get progressively easier as piles have been eliminated because you can place any card on an empty pile.
